Most of our partner lenders consider applications across a wide credit spectrum. Higher scores generally unlock better rates and longer terms, but we have plans that work for borrowers with mid-tier credit too. We submit you to the lender that fits your profile, not a one-size-fits-all program.
Is there really no down payment?
On approved credit, 100% project financing is available — meaning no down payment required. Whether you qualify for the zero-down option depends on credit profile and project size. We walk through the actual numbers during the consult.
How long are the typical terms?
Plans offer fixed-rate terms ranging from a few years up to 30 years on qualifying loans. Longer terms lower your monthly payment but add to total interest paid. We help you find the right balance for your budget.
Do I have to put my house up as collateral?
No. Lyon Financial offers unsecured personal loans — there's no lien on your home and no second mortgage. Your house isn't used as collateral, which also means there's no appraisal or equity requirement to get started.
Are there prepayment penalties?
Most of our partner lender plans have no prepayment penalty — meaning you can pay extra or pay off early without a fee. A small number of specialty plans do, and we flag those clearly.
Can I use a HELOC instead?
Absolutely. HELOC and cash-out refinance are common alternatives. EZ‑Term financing is one option among several — we're not married to it. If a HELOC fits your situation better, that's fine.
Can I finance a partial project?
