We hired Werth Builders for a major project: removing an old in-ground spa, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen, and replacing them with a brand-new pool, spa, covered patio, and kitchen. The project was complex, involving moving a retaining wall and working on a hillside.

After getting several quotes and speaking with multiple contractors, we chose Werth Builders because of the detailed rendering they provided and their proven experience with similar projects in the area.

The process began with a detailed engineering plan that needed city approval. Once approved, Pete’s crew handled the demolition. They did an excellent job maneuvering bobcats around the house and removing all the concrete quickly and cleanly. From there, construction moved into building the pool, retaining wall, concrete work, and plumbing. It was amazing to watch the pool take shape, especially the intricate rock work around the edges. Pete told us we’d be swimming by the 4th of July—and he delivered!

We’re thrilled with the final result. Pete and his crew offered great recommendations along the way on tiles, lighting, and colors, which really brought everything together. Thanks to their hard work, we now have the backyard we’ve always dreamed of, and we look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.
